Fall Fun Has Arrived
What a way to ring in the first week of the fall season- a cool wisp of air was sent our way for a few days and it was glorious! While most fall days around Tampa Bay are still quite warm and humid, that doesn't stop the seasonal festivities from ramping up with all things pumpkin. Each fall I love to share with you a few special events happening around town. I hope you enjoy the events from this list and please let me know if you have any favorites!
PumpkinFest at Florida Botanical Gardens: Features pumpkin carving, painting, crafts, a cake walk, and a nature scavenger hunt.
When: Saturday, October 24, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM
St. Pete Pier Fall Pumpkin Patch: A sprawling waterfront pumpkin patch paired with a full weekend festival featuring bounce zones, a specialized Kids Zone with magicians, live kids' bands, and fall-themed mini-golf.
When: Runs daily from October 9–25, 2026; the main St. Pete Fall Festival takes place October 10–11, 2026.
Autumn Harvest at the Pinellas Pioneer Settlement: Classic hayrides, old-timey games, autumn crafts, and a variety of local food trucks ($5 admission; kids 3 and under are free).
When: Saturday, October 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Where: Boyd Hill Nature Preserve, St. Petersburg.
Raprager Farms: This is a massive favorite for hands-on fun. It features a giant 80-foot bounce pillow, a massive corn pit, petting zoo, hayrides, and a mechanical bull.
Where: Odessa, FL
Sweetfields Farms: Famous for its intricately designed, massive 18th annual corn maze. Kids can race pedal tractors, use massive pumpkin launchers, climb a treehouse, and see fluffy cows. They also fresh-press apple cider right on-site.
Where: Brooksville, FL
Fall Plant Festival at the USF Botanical Gardens: Over 50 local growers bring out rare plants and artisan goods. It includes family-friendly activities in a gorgeous, shaded outdoor garden setting.
When: October 11, 2026.
