Summer is often a crunch time in the real estate market. Families prefer to move during the summer break to avoid disrupting their children’s school year. And yet, the long, sweltering days of house hunting can be exhausting, not to mention, overwhelming when faced with a time crunch.
If you plan on listing your home for sale this summer, help refresh prospective buyers by making your next open house a memorable and delightful experience. Why not a summer cocktail!?
Open House Sangria
Ingredients:
1 bottle of red wine
1 orange, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
2 tablespoons sugar
1 shot brandy
2 cups soda water
Directions: In a large pitcher, combine the wine, orange, lemon, sugar, and brandy. Stir well and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Just before serving, add soda water and ice.
With more listings and increased buyer activity, the summer market is dynamic. While this means more competition, it also means a greater variety for buyers and a better chance for sellers to get top dollar for their homes.
Cheers to a sweet summer sale! - Melody
